Maxime Boutillier
In 2012 Maxime Boutillier graduated from the prestigious ESAG Penninghen School. Then he quickly joined the Joseph Dirand Agency of Architecture where he spent seven years, working on the design and interior architecture. There, he dealt with luxury ready-to-wear stores, five-star hotels, and private homes, which enabled him to broaden his creative universe. Maxime Boutillier set up his own agency in 2020. He is a lover of pure and sculptural aesthetics, but his contemporary creations are nevertheless ‘conscious’ of the past. His furniture collections stand out thanks to a thorough consideration of the close relationship that shape and material foster. Seeking authenticity, the furniture that he designs are created with genuine and noble materials by French craftsmen with traditional know-how. He simultaneously goes on designing interior spaces for private customers. Behind each design, the project hides a unique setting that is linked to the history of the place. It is through his perspective as well as his way of designing that Maxime Boutillier is able to keep reinventing refined and elegant spaces where details are processed with the utmost care.
