Design by Alessandro Serafini. Duna consists of a seat and a backrest. To make the seat, we square a block with a single-blade machine and carve out the upper curve by cutting the block with a metal wire. The backrest portions are made by cutting shapes from a single slab using a waterjet machine, and the pieces obtained are then milled using a CNC (Computer numerical control).
